I fully agree!!! I can't stand ANYONE on the always stupid Dean Blundell show. How idiots (with the sense of humnour of 4 year olds) can be on air every morning, talking about the same garbage everyday is just plain scary. I refuse to listen to The Egde at all – mainly because of the content on Dean's show (and the fact that they replay songs all day long). It should be renamed 102.1 – The Crap.

Such a stupid slut. I have to listen to this horrible station at work because my coworkers like it and was consequently compelled to image search “josie dye” on google. I was curious to see if this slore is even attractive. Shes not. Anyway i thats how I found this article. Its good to see others share my disgust.

That's awesome. I still enjoy the morning show too, but once Josie comes it's better to turn the dial just in case stupidity is contagious.

I realize the Update is going on 2 years old and this post is from almost 5 years ago, but this sh*t is funny!
102.1 sold out so long ago I forgot they were ever legit and Josie's as sharp as safety scissors but I'm okay with that. As long as it happens over on that end of the dial. Recently though, I've been catching Dean Blundell and then Josie switches me over to 93.3 CFMU at 10am when she starts

Today I didn't switch though, and I'm actually glad.
Josie Dye just played the SAME SONG TWICE on her show.
That's right, TWICE! She introduced Blur's 'Song 2' then after the song she came out with some Groundhog day facts and then RE-INTRODUCED the song she just played and played 'Song 2' again.

She apologized and promised not to play another song “two times in a row” but apologies mean nothing and you know she probably can't keep that promise. But this, this is priceless.

Ditsy comments and the most annoying laugh/barf aside, she can't even seem to find play or mute on the control board.

I've made my self immune to her idiotism by tuning her voice out from the regular segments but when i hear her answering calls while a song is playing or stopping a tune 30 seconds into it and then starting a completely different one makes me want to puncture my entire face with a screwdriver.

And did anyone catch Bookie's call to her about "Guess This Edge Artist"? Haha f***** priceless

I can't believe there are so many people defending her...I'm sure she's a nice person (when she's sober) but she does not belong on a new/indie/rock station.

That being said, I do tune into edge during the day for the music as Y108 doesn't come in very clear in my neck of the woods and I'm sick of classic rock.

And, as you can tell, Ive been an Edge fan for many, many years. It’s just their sytem and way of doing things. Get rid of BT and Martin? How good did that turn out? R.I.P.
Fearless Fred? Plays good music, but there’s no filter from his brain to voicebox either. I had the p[leasure of meeting Josie a couple of weeks ago (she’s dating a friend of mine) she was gracious to every who said hello.
Does it mean she’s a good DJ? No.
As for listening o the radio, what’s the problem with people who have the time to do so and enjoy the medium. As for sitting in a room creating the blog, some people have the time to do that.
It’s called an opinion. And we are all entitled to one, just because you don’t agree with some one doesn’t mean you get to bash them (I’m talking about the replies on here to jamEs. How about a valid rebuttal or bring facts to the discussion that prove your point. But the fact is you can’t. I like her as a person, but that’s from my EXPERIENCE. Just as from my EXPERIENCE, she not that great a DJ. Face the facts.
