Played a little footie last night and managed to bugger up my knee. I sent a crossing shot over, shifted my weight to my left leg and heard a nice pop sound and proceeded to crumple into a heap on the ground. Must have looked weird given I was kinda all by myself in the corner when I fell down. Either way, the play stopped and I hauled myself off the field as I knew there was no walking this one off. So I missed the rest of the game, but there was only 6 minutes left, so we were only short a forward for about 1 shift, so it wasn’t too bad. I woke up this morning and could hardly move, so I’ve arranged a doctors appointment tonight to get checked out. In my untrained opinion, I think I’ve probably sprained my MCL, but the doctor will verify this theory for me tonight. Well, on the brighter side of things, we won our game 3-0 against the second place team, our arch-rivals, Cambridge Youth. With the win we secured the regular season league title and have 1 game to go on the schedule where we can hopefully cap our undeafeated season with a win. I’m guessing I’ll probably be on the shelf for a week or two, so hopefully I’ll be back for playoffs and be right as rain.

Anyhoo, I’ve been working on my new layout for the blog recently, hence the lack of updates. It’s going to be hella sweet. I’m implementing a new blog system called Pivot. It’s all php and has alot of hella cool features. I’m still working out the kinks, but hopefully it will see the light of day by next week. While I’m on the topic, I’m feeling really good about having moved out. I have more responsibilities, but it seems I have more time to work on my own personal projects. It’s something that has been lacking in my life since I closed up shop with OasisCentral a couple of years ago. It used to be my outlet for crazy designs and layouts, so now I get to channel it elsewhere. And believe me Dan, I’m working on some cool ideas for your new blog layout.
