I’ve had an interesting morning so far. The power went out at about 9:20. So I hung around for a bit until someone said that the power would be off for an hour. So I decided to drop in on my friend Chance. Got to hang out until about 11 when the power came back on. Oh well, back to work.

I managed to get a nice sunburn this weekend. It was bloody hot out. I’m a fair haired english/scottish kinda guy, so sun and me don’t mix very well. At least it evened out the nice farmers tan I had going. Other then hanging around Corina and I didn’t get up to very much. it was a rather sedate weekend, though oddly I am left still very tired from it. We decided to make it a Jude Law fest on Saturday night by picking up I Heart Huckabys and Closer. Still haven’t watched Closer yet. In watching I Heart Huckabys there is a scene where Jason Schwartman is sucking on Jude Laws hairy teet. I don’t think I’ve ever been struck by such an amused yet grossed out sensation ever. It was so out of left field. Overall I really liked the movie. Lots of just random, absurd shit goes on, so it’s right up my alley.

I finally have some confirmation of my moving date. July 7th is the big day. I can’t wait. I haven’t started packing at all, so I really should get at it. I’m still at that stage where I still want everything functional in my apartment. I don’t really want to pack up my whole entertainment centre just so I can re-set it up upstairs. All the wires are inherently a bitch, but I know I’ll have to do it. On top of the move we’re planning a garage sale. We’re going to have it at my parents house, only they don’t know this yet. I’ll have to design up some pimpin garage sale signs so people know how clearly awesome it’s going to be.

I installed the new Mac OS Tiger on my iMac G5 at home. It didn’t take too long to find out that there is an issue with it and my computer. Apparently if you let the computer go to sleep and try to wake it up it kicks the fan into overdrive and won’t let you back into the computer without a restart. What a bitch. Hopefully Apple posts a fix for this soon. I’ve got it set so the computer doesn’t go to sleep anymore, but that’s a pain. On the other hand I oddly do like the Dashboard widgets. I didn’t think they would be handy, but so far I’ve checked the weather, phone book and calendar with them, so they are handy. Spotlight is also very cool. I always search for stuff on my hard drive, so it will be handy.
