Lost was pretty awesome last night. Given the 3 week hiatus they had to come back with something good to get people drawn back in. Shannon was the one who was killed last night, in rather shocking fashion. They teased the whole episode that Sawyer wasn’t in good shape and that it seemed like he would die. I’m glad they seem to be back on course with the show after having a bit of a wandering start to the season. I was a bit bent out of shape to find the next episode will deal with the story of all the people from the tail of the plane instead of following the aftermath of yesterday’s episode, but that’s just the way Lost is. Being a follower of Lost is really being a glutton for punishment. The writers must just love holding off pushing the plot forward and doubling back on the story. They also started digging into some of the past storylines with Locke and Charlie last night, which really worked for me. They have been slow on picking up on some of the leftover threads of plot from last season, so it’s good to see some of the other characters getting some screen-time.
