Who the hell do Green Day think they are? They release an album (American Idiot) raging against government and George Bush because that was the cool thing to do in 2004. This after making album after album of shlocky pop-punk nonsense their whole career, enabling the careers of such crap factories as Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, they decide to become politically motivated. Do they think they’re Primal Scream or something?

After releasing 19 singles from their album, they release Jesus Of Suburbia, accompanied with a -explitive deleted- 9 minute video. Did Green Day not get the memo? They make "punk" music. If they want to make "punk" music, at least keep it in the 2-3 minute range. If you string a song out a song that long they might as well be opening for Meatloaf.
