Garrgh.  Today was the second day in a row sans internet and email at work.  It’s horseapples really.  Apparently we blew a router yesterday morning and have yet to get setup again.  It’s supposedly tied to this virus that is supposed to be hitting tommorow.  Now this is brutal.  Our IT guy isn’t that great of an IT guy, so it doesn’t really surprise me.  This is now the second time in the last month and half that we’ve had a sustained amount of downtime, as we were down for 2 plus days in December as well.  If this were my company, heads would be rolling right now.  In my line of work, we rely on email to deliver proofs to our clients.  We have no backup system or safety net in place, so when things go to shit, that’s it.  Makes my life at work alot more complicated, which really pisses me off.
