Most people who appear in Star Wars are indelibly marked as the character they played. I highly doubt this will occur to Ewan McGregor. People won’t remember his defining moment as Obi-Wan Kenobi(everyone knows that’s Sir Alec Guiness), he will forever be the guy who crawled into a toilet to retrieve his drugs in Trainspotting.
