I was just searching my site on google and noticed a blog post I made awhile back got quoted on CNET. They have a feature that displays blog commentary called Blogma and a quote from a piece I wrote about Microsoft selling anti-virus software was used. I have to admit in retrospect, that was a pretty damn good quote.
I’m a total stat whore when it comes to my site. I love looking at the who, what and where of my web traffic. It’s absolutely facinating. I noticed today my advertising budget has payed off as well. Awhile back there was a big push to find a way of booting Windows on one of the new Intel Macs. This site OnMac launched a contest to raise money as a prize incentive to the first person or persons to create a viable solution for dual booting both OSs. I decided that it seemed like a worthy geek cause, so I made a donation of $1.37 to the cause under the name modsuperstar.ca. In the end almost $14,000 was raised for the prize, which is pretty amazing. Well the contest is officially over as of yesterday, with an unnamed California duo claiming the prize. So since the prize has been awarded and such I’ve been seeing some traffic coming my way.
And as usual, I got some weird searches that led to my site, but in regards to nipples. The first was "nipple alignment oscar talk", which I thought was pretty good, but not 12 hours later someone came searching for "nipple shot indian actress". It’s all about the nipples with you people isn’t it?
