This installment of the Amazing Race has been pretty decent thus far. It seems very much like the herd is being thinned, as each team that’s been eliminated has been one of the weaker teams. My picks for the show, the hippies BJ and Tyler, are faring tremendously well, having been in the top 2 for most of the legs so far. I think this Amazing Race actually has produced a first. This is the first time I’ve actually liked the token old couple. Fran and Barry have fared very well so far and they don’t bitch and moan all the time like every other old couple(yes I’m looking at you Gretchen and Meredith) the show has had. The other team I’ve liked is Dave and Lori, though they’ve seemingly been dabbling with disaster the last couple episodes. While I like their team, I think they could get bounced soon if they aren’t careful.

And as I missed doing it last week, Lost is finally back on. While the 3 weeks of reruns has been pretty infuriating, the show did come back with a good episode. The plot moved forward on a couple of the storylines. I’m really wondering where this Henry Gale plot is going, given in the preview for this weeks episode we actually see a balloon, which would seem to lend credibility to his story. Also in the preview we saw the blast doors in the hatch closing on Locke, so shit looks like it’s going down. Can’t wait for tonights episode.
