Yes my friend stoner does it but his is once a day and is only 1 hiccup! He is thinking of seeing a doctor. Have you seen one before about it?

this happens to me all the time for the past few months, there very annoying, my friends call me pterodactyl, went to my doctor about them he was totally stumped so i got a xray done last week and sometime this week im supose to get my results, hoping i can figure out why i get them.

My mom has said that I have had hiccups even as a fetus, these continued all the way until I was twelve, not chronically, but drastically more than average, when I was 13-14 I had hiccups almost every day in four month increments. Now that I am fifteen, these chronic hiccups have been replaced by random, loud hiccups, I get at least ten a day. If you google chronic hiccups, I fall under two out of three categories for underlying causes. Any idea how to fix this?

Omg!!!!! I get one hiccup a day, everyday for about 6 months now. I've asked the doctor and he laughed and told me that it was just plain weird. It irks my boyfriend all the time. I thought I was the only one! Well good luck to you all I hope we find a cure

I get hiccups randomly almost everyday. They last from a few minutes to a couple of hours. I guess we are all looking for an answer!

This happens to me too 1 or 2 hiccups really loud ones ! and i used to get hiccups alot a couple months ago that lasted about 15 minutes….

I have had these for about ten years now. I get them walking, standing, resting, driving, working, unemployed, happy, sad, stressed, relaxed….. There is no logic. They manifest as a loud squawk, just once or maybe 2 or 3. Every hour. It's embarrassing. I have had hypnosis, acupuncture, drugs, but nothing works. I can never demonstrate it to my doctor, he must think I am making it up. I am convinced Medical Science doesn't even know our problem exists. How can we get them to research? The only time I notice it doesn't happen is when I am focussed…. In the moment…..I even do radio and it has never interfered with me talking on air thank god. But the minute I am relaxed it is back.

I get hiccups twice a day. I get them everyday in fourth period and the second set comes at anytime during the rest of the day. They normally last anywhere from 20 minutes to around an hour. They start off light then they get really strong and almost painful. Everyone allways trys to scare me and fails, i get drinks and i fail. I think there might be some type of disorder with me. Does anyone know what might cause this and how I can cure it?

I get one loud and hurtful hiccup when I'm really focussed; particularly when i'm in a business meeting. Apparently it's caused by anxiety.
