Micah P. Hinson is a singer/songwriter hailing from Abilene, Texas. He recently released his third album entitled Micah P. Hinson and the Opera Circuit, his second release this year on Jade Tree Records. Hinson’s music has a very old feel to it, almost like you’re opening an old, dusty, leather bound book. You get the feeling that his voice is well older then it’s actual 25 years. He often layers vocals and creates a mosaic of sound with lush instrumentation, mixing horns, banjos, xylophone and whatever else he can cram into the recording.
