Went to the Matt Good show at Hamilton Place on Friday night. This was a follow-up tour to last years acoustic shows. This time it was all electric with a full band. The show was much more your arena rock, greatest hits kinda show. There was still a fair amount of stuff from Hospital Music throughout the set. I got a couple of videos from the show that turned out alright. This was the first show I was able to try out my new camera and it came through with flying colours.

She’s In It For The Money, which closed the show. I was so surprised and happy to find this close the show. I was kinda waiting the whole show to see if it got played and was quite surprised when it got whipped out as the second encore song.

Overall the show was good, but it kinda had a tough time living up to those acoustic shows from the fall. I hadn’t seen an electric Matthew Good set since I saw MGB in 1999, so there was a lot of stuff I hadn’t heard live before. He puts on a hell of a show and I highly recommend checking out one of the upcoming shows if he’s in your area.
