A Gremlin In The Wild
Corina and I spotted this AMC Gremlin cruising around Paris last weekend. The car sounded like crap, but it looked in good shape. I’m surprised with the recent flurry of retro inspired cars hitting market that cars like the Gremlin haven’t been revisited already. I was just doing some searching and apparently Gremlins, Pinto and Pacers are actually increasing in value at auction. Obviously people still hold a place in their hearts for the cars that often made for better punchlines then anything else. My mom said she used to own one of these, but I have never seen photographic proof, so it’s possible it never happened. Then again I kinda had the same tact when she claimed she had a spider monkey named Josephine when she was a kid. Turned out there are actually pictures of that.
